The TFC69-A is a field camera for 120 roll film made by Shanghai Shenhao. The base and front and rear standards are made from black-walnut wood, and the metal fittings are aluminium alloy.

It has both front and rear focus; both standards are mounted on racking sections of the base, each with knobs on both sides for racking. This arrangement allows the camera to be compact; with both standards racked fully into the base board, the camera measures only 90mm front-rear, excluding the lens and film back. The camera does not fold up for carriage or storage.

The bellows extension is adjustable between 52mm and 190mm (so almost double extension).

The front standard allows rise 42mm, fall 12mm, shift 34mm each way, swing 30° each way, and axis-tilt 30° each way. The rear allows rise 45mm, shift 40mm each way, swing 30° each way, and tilt 11° each way.[1]

The camera weighs 1.4kg excluding a lens and film holder.

ShenHao offers both Horseman 6x9 and Mamiya 6x7 roll-film backs for the camera. It has a Graflex/international back (so the ground-glass is exchanged for either of these backs after focusing); or in principle small sheet film in a dark slide can be inserted in front of the screen. The camera has a reversing back; to switch from horizontal to vertical orientation, the back is detached, turned, and reattached. There is a shoe on top of the rear standard for attachment of an optical finder.
