The Semi Rosen is a Japanese 4.5×6 folding camera, whose maker is unclear. The distributor is Ōsawa Shōkai, that was probably the owner of the Rosen name. Some other Rosen cameras were made by Proud, but there is no definitive evidence about the Semi Rosen.
The original model is an Ikonta copy, with a folding optical finder. It does not seem to have a body release, and it is embossed ROSEN in the front leather.
A Rosen Semi Proud (unclear which is the model name) has been auctioned at eBay, with a Rapit (sic) Anastigmat 75/3.5 lens and a shutter marked KKS, back marked K.S. Nippon. It looked like the Rosen Semi shown in McKeown, with a body quite similar to the Fujimoto Semi Sport.
