The Sekonic Auto Leader L-188 is a hand held reflected light exposure meter. This meter has been available for a long time, being marketed for over 25 years from 1979 to 2005. New old stock meters could still be purchased in 2007 but by the end of 2008 most stock has dissipated.

It uses a Cds based photo cell that provides low light measurements. It is designed in a light weight slim classic profile that is easy to use. Measurements are accomplished using a match needle system. To do so, set the ASA speed, press the measure button and rotating the dial until both needles line up, read the dial for the correct shutter and aperture combinations. It is powered by SR44 batteries.
