The Salyut (Салют) was a medium format SLR made from 1957-1972 by Arsenal. This was largely copied from the Hasselblad 1600 F, including a focal-plane shutter with speeds from ½ to 1/1500 sec. Later versions of the Salyut had a 1/1000 sec top shutter speed.
The Salyut was also exported as Zenith 80, Revue 80, Vitoflex, and Soyuz. Its successor was the Salyut S (or Salyut C).
