The camera was made for interchangeable lenses. Priced 628 Deutsche Marks it was too expensive for the beginners film system. Only 28.000 pieces were made. |
The Rolleiflex SL26 was a SLR camera for film cartridges of Kodak's type 126. Three lenses were available, all from Carl Zeiss: The Tessar 1:2.8/40mm which was included in the basic camera set, the wide-angle Pro-Tessar 1:3,2/28 mm, and the portrait lens Pro-Tessar 1:4/80mm. The camera was constructed by the famous German camera engineer Heinz Waaske.
