The Rifax was a self-erecting folder with a coupled rangefinder.

There were two models of the Rifax. One model was self-erecting, came with a Trinar f/2.9 anastigmat lens in rapid computer shutter, with a coupled rangefinder. The Compur-Rapid was capable of speeds up to 1/400s. The camera could take either 6x6 or 4.5x6 images on 120 film.
The other took 6x9 or 6x4.5 sized images, also came with a coupled rangefinder. The lens was a Trinar f/3.8 in Compur shutter.
