Regula IIa by Alf Sigaro |
The Regula IIa was a 35mm viewfinder camera made at Bad Liebenzell in the Black Forest by King KG, possibly between 1950-1955 - as a successful part of their Regula brand. This model also has a built-in extinction meter which is viewed through a separate viewfinder on the back of the camera; its appearance on the front of the camera is sometimes mistaken for a rangefinder window. The film speed is set with a dial that is under the film rewinding knob; it uses the new DIN system and supports film speeds between DIN 10°-24° (ISO/ASA 8-200).
