The '''Präzisions-Peco''' is a [[folding bed camera| folding bed]] plate camera produced by [[Plaubel]] from 1913 onwards. It allowed exchange of the shutter/lens combination. The folding bed bears the inscription "Plaubel Präzision". Thus the German camera maker in Frankfurt/Main tried to offer the same legendary level of quality of its innovative [[Makina]] for more conservative customers who prefered folding bed cameras.

For the normal lens it allows fast distance setting by scale, the other lenses may necessarily need [[ground glass]] focusing. Then ground glass can also be used as viewfinder if the camera is mounted on tripod. Waist-level [[brilliant finder]] or the alternate big [[sports finder]] make the  camera also usable as [[hand camera]] for snapshots.
