The Optio 33WR is a water resistant digital compact camera by Japanese manufacturer Pentax released in 2003.
The body is an unusual square shape at approx 3 x 3 inches and a bit over an inch thick. It uses a 3.2 megapixel 1/2.7" CCD imaging sensor. this produces a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1526. The lens is a 5.7 - 16mm (37 – 104 mm 35mm equivalent) 2.8x zoom lens. The minimum focus distance is at 30cm in regular mode, while macro mode can do 1cm. A basic optical viewfinder is included along with a 86,000 pixel 1.6" color LCD display. It uses Secure Digital flash cards, with a 16MB card usually included. The camera is powered by 2x AA batteries.
