The MX-1 is a digital camera produced by Pentax Ricoh Imaging in 2013.
It uses a retro style body design made similar to older film cameras. Material usage includes a brass top and bottom plates and the body is surrounded with leatherette.
The imaging sensor is a 12 megapixel 1/1.7" CMOS based design which captures images with a maximum 4000 x 3000 resolution. Images can be captured in Jpeg or a raw DNG file formats. Video can be recorded in 1920x1080 in 30/60fps, or in 1280x720 in 30fps with the MPEG-4 AVC/H264 format. It uses a Pentax SMC branded 4x 8-24mm f/1.8 to 2.5 zoom lens.
