The Pentax Espio 90MC is a fully automatic compact camera manufactured by Pentax. It was also sold as the IQZoom 90MC. It is part of the Pentax Espio IQZoom cameras series.
It uses a 38-90mm f/4.5 to f/9.5 zoom lens made of 5 elements in 5 groups. It is protected by a sliding cover that also functions as the power switch. Autofocus is based on a infrared type system. It has a focus range of 0.65m to infinity. The shutter speed range is from 2s to 1/300 with a bulb mode at 5 min to 1/2 sec. The self-timer has a delay of 10 seconds.
Film is automatically loaded, advanced and rewound. Mid-roll rewind can be done. It is compatible with DX encoded films from 25 to 3200 ISO. Non-coded films are set at 25 ISO. It is powered by a CR2 battery.
Date models are also available. It is capable of imprinting up to year 2030.
