The Lumix GF2 is a Micro Four Thirds based digital system camera by Panasonic. It is the successor of the Panasonic Lumix GF1. A newer GF3 was released shortly after.

It uses the same 12 megapixel sensor sensor as the previous version, but with a improved image processor. The video is now recorded in 1,920 x 1,080 resolution in the AVCHD format. Many of the body controls like mode dial and drive switch have been streamlined, it has a smaller body and many of the functions are now menu driven. A 3 inch 460,000 dot LCD can also operate as a touch screen for many of the functions.
