Matsushita released the Panasonic DMC-FZ7 in 2006 as an upgrade to the DMC-FZ5 from a year earlier.
It has a 1/2.5" 6MP CCD, a larger 114,000 pixel LCD (2.5"), ISO 800 and 1600 options at lower than full-resolution and now includes a manual focus option. The maximum resolution is 2816 x 2112 in 4:3, 2816 x 1880 in 3:2 and 2816 x 1584 in 16:9 ratio and can be captured in JPEG and TIFF.
