The LX1 is an 8-MP compact that is the first compact to offer a 16::9 aspect ratio and is currently the smallest camera available to support RAW files format as a standard part of the workflow.

The LX1 has a Leica counterpart, the Leica DLux2, and apart from some cosmentic differences both cameras appear to be the same, including the Leica lens.
