PLOOT was the designation used by Leica for an early accessory reflex finder, announced 1935[1], which adapted their screw-mount rangefinder cameras into an approximation of an SLR. This was used with telephoto and macro lenses. The PLOOT was superceded by several generations of Visoflex housing.
