It has a focus distance of 1.5m to infinity. It features a 27mm f6.3 lens comprised of 3 elements in 3 groups. The face of the camera has a sliding lid to protect the lens. The shutter is electronic with a single speed of 1/100-sec. The viewfinder is very large compared to most compacts. An automatic flash is built-in with red eye reduction. The film auto advances and rewind. The camera is compatible with [[DX Encoding|DX encoded]] film, but with no encoded films it defaults to using ISO 100. It is powered by 2x AA batteries.
