The Shoot & Go R is a simple fixed focus 35mm film camera sold by Olympus. The camera was made in China and has very basic controls.

Shutter is fixed and the camera is intended to be used by fixing the aperture by a switch to either 100/200 ISO or 400 ISO. The same switch moves the aperture wider still and charges the in built flash. There is no low light warning circuit common on other Olympus basic cameras like many in the Trip Fixed Focus series. There is a simple flash ready light beside the simple viewfinder. the camera has an a red eye reduction system. The manual gives a focal range of 1.2m (4ft) to infinity but recommend optimal focus distance of 1.2-3m (4-10ft). The batteries are only needed for the flash and the camera will work without. Manual thumbwheel advance and the film compartment is opened by lifting the rewind knob up. Film plane is flat.
