The Camedia C-211 Zoom is a digital camera with a built-in instant film printer introduced by Olympus in 1999.
Upon release of this camera, Polaroid also released a portable printer called Polaroid P-500ir which is very similar to the printer portion of this camera, but with added support for CompactFlash media.
The camera features a 2 megapixel 1/2.7" CCD sensor. The lens is a 5.4 to 16.2mm (35 to 105 equilv) F2.8 to F4.4 (8 elements in 6 groups) with a 3x zoom lens. The printer portion uses Polaroid type 500 film also known as Captiva film. It has a 2" colour 113,000 pixel LCD screen. Images are recorded in JPEG or TIFF with a maximum resolution of 1600×1200. Storage is usually included in the form of a 8MB SmartMedia card. A few built-in editing options included crop, brightness and sharpen are also available. It is powered by 4x AA batteries or 2x CR-V3 lithiums. It weighs in at approx. 680g.
