The Camedia C-21 is a digital camera released from Olympus in 1999.

Similar to many Olympus point and shoot cameras; it is based on a capsule design with a sliding lens cover that also powers up the camera. It features a f/2.4 38mm equivalent lens with a focus distance of 2ft to inf, and 6" to 2ft in macro mode. It uses a 2,140,000 pixel 1/2" CCD sensor. Images can be recorded a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels in TIFF as well as various Jpeg compression levels. The top of the camera has the shutter release button as well as small LCD panel with information such as battery level, photo quality, and number of photos that can be captured. An optical finder is available with markings for macro mode. A 114,000 pixel 1.8" TFT color LCD display is also provided for photo review and composing. It uses SmartMedia for removable storage. Computer i/o is with a RS232C serial interface. It can be powered by either lithium CR-V3 or two AA batteries.
