The OM Digital Solutions Corporation in Tokyo was founded in 2020 to take over the photo camera business of Olympus. The company continues and improves the production of several digital cameras of Olympus which were successful in the 2010s, mainly digital system cameras for the Micro Four Thirds system and waterproof outdoor digicams. In 2023 it opened a plant to produce new and improved lenses for the µ4/3 lens mount.
