The Sawyer's Nomad 127 is a brown bakelite camera that produces eight 4x6.5cm images on 127 film. It was made c1957 by Sawyer's Inc. It has a fixed-focus f/15 meniscus lens and single-speed shutter. A matching flash holder was available, which fitted on top, connecting with pins into sockets either side of the viewfinder tunnel. A 620 film version was also made.
A forum post at Collection Appareils reports a copy of the Nomad, impressed in the bakelite as made in India, as the Ajoy 127 by Ace Camera Equipments of Mumbai.[1][2]
