The No. 5 Cartridge Kodak was introduced in 1898 and discontinued in 1907.[1] It is a roll film camera, "cartridge" referred to the fact that a roll of film looked a little like a shotgun cartridge. It takes 115 roll film.[2] This was not for the casual snapshot taker, with the original model costing $US85.50,[3] a large amount of money at the time.
