Nikon F55 (N55)

The Nikon F55, or N55 in the Americas is an entry level SLR camera released in 2002.
The film loading operation on this as well as the F75 / N75 is a bit different compared to other cameras. Upon loading the film; the camera spools the film to the take up reel and counts down the number of shots available. Since each exposed frame goes back into the film canister upon advancing, photos will not be lost if the camera back is accidentally opened.
issues
There is an advisory from Nikon regarding AF issues on some of these cameras. [1]
