The Coolpix 3000 is a digital camera manufactured by Nikon and announced in 2010. It is part of the long running Coolpix line of digital cameras.

It uses a 1/2.3" 12 megapixel CCD sensor which can produce a maximum image size of 4000 x 3000. It uses a 35mm equivalent 27–108mm 5x zoom lens. It is able to focus from as close as 50 cm but in macro mode this is further reduced to 8 cm. It has a 230,000 pixel 2.7 inch LCD screen. SDHC cards are used for removable storage, with 47MB built-in. Connectivity is via USB2. Power is with a rechargeable EN-EL10 Lithium-ion battery. The body colour is available in black, silver, red, blue, orange, magenta and green.
