The Coolpix S3 is a ultra compact digital camera manufactured by Nikon and announced in Sept 2005. It is almost identical the Nikon Coolpix S1 in appearance, but uses a different imaging sensor.
It uses a 1/2.5" 6 megapixel CCD sensor which can produce a maximum image size of 2816 x 2112. It uses a 35mm equivalent 35mm - 105mm 3x zoom lens. It has a 110,000 pixel 2.5 inch LCD screen. There is 12MB of internal memory and SD cards are used for removable storage.
