The Nikon Coolpix 5200 is a 5 megapixel fixed-lens compact digital cameras, made for the Nikon Corporation of Japan, announced on 12th February 2004. It was a higher-spec version of the similar, 4 megapixel Coolpix 4200.

The lens is a Zoom-Nikkor with 3x optical zoom, 7.8-23.4mm (35mm-equivalent 38-114mm), which is capped and retracted into the body when the camera is switched off.

The same body was used for later models such as the Coolpix 7900.
