The Minolta V3 rangefinder camera had been derived from the Minolta V2 in 1960. As its predecessor it was an all mechanical camera, but with builtin selenium exposure meter. Only two years after the V2's leaf shutter speed world record Minolta reached a new one with the V3s only 1/3000 seconds minimum exposure time.
