The Mentor Compur-Reflex is an SLR for 6.5×9cm film plates or for type 120 film roll adapter. It has a collapsible hood over the reflex finder's focusing screen and a spring-driven mirror that has to be reset manually after exposure. For fast action the camera has an alternate sportsfinder. Its rim-set Compur leaf shutter offers speeds 1-1/250 second, plus B and T mode. It has a Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 1:4.5 f=10.5cm lens, with front-element focus down to 1.5 m.
