The May Fair is a folding camera made by Houghton Butcher in England, c.1930. There was also a box-type May Fair. There are at least two models, with different designs of front plate around the lens. The Super May Fair has a 105mm f6.3 lens with an iris stopping to f32, which is set in a 3-speed (1/100-1/25) + B&T shutter. The May Fair has just two apertures (for 'very bright' or 'ordinary' light).

The May Fair takes 6x9cm images on 120 film. Aiming is done through a brilliant finder or a folding frame finder.

"May Fair" was a cigarette brand name, marketed by Ardath, and this camera was given away as a premium item in return for cigarette coupons. The May Fair name is marked as a Trademark on the cover of the instructions and on the label on the camera itself. The May Fair variant shown below is in several of the Ardath premium gift catalogues.
