The Mamiya MSX series was released in May 1974. It marked a return by Mamiya to the 42mm threaded-mount lens. It had TTL manual CdS spot metering, with an exposure evaluation needle visible in the viewfinder. The high sync speed is 1/60. Battery required is one MS76 or equivalent.
