Okaya Lord SE with Highkor 40mm / f1.9 lens |
The Lord SE fixed lens rangefinder camera was made by Okaya Optical Works of Nagano, Japan in 1958, featuring:
- Rangefinder-coupled Okaya Optical Highkor 40mm / f1.9 to f16 lens.
- Seikosha MXL shutter with M, F and X flash sync.
- Shutter speeds: B, 1, 1/2, 1/5, 1/10, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100, 1/250, 1/500s.
- 5-blade aperture diaphragm.
- Shutter speed and aperture settings interlocked with an Light Value lens ring.
- Built-in non-coupled selenium meter read at the top of camera, reading in Light Value scale, indexed ASA 3-800 for high and low light levels adjusted by a flip-up lightshield.
- Rangefinder contrast enhanced by a green-tinted surround.
- Accessory port for a mechanical winder that would be attached to baseplate.
Cosmetically, its chrome finish coating may be thin and susceptible to brassing or corrosion.
