A Leica 35mm rangefinder camera for Leica M lenses, manufactured at E. Leitz's division in Midland, Ontario Canada. This 1978 model revived Leica's of M-bayonet rangefinder line after disappointing M5 sales caused the company to suspend the M series in 1976.
