This article is a stub. You can help Camera-wiki.org by expanding it.

The Recorder is a 35mm half frame point and shot camera introduced in 1984 by Konica. In some market it is known as the AA-35. In the closed position, the camera is shaped like a cassette recorder (maybe that's how it gets the name?). Unlike most other half frame cameras, the film goes from bottom to top so the picture frame is in the landscape orientation.

Specifications

  • Hexanon 24mm F/4 lens with 4 elements in 4 groups, FOV similar to 35mm on full frame
  • Active AF, 0.9m to infinity
  • Program AE with CdS meter
  • Shutter speed 1/60s - 1/250s
  • Manual film speed setting ISO/ASA 100-200-400
  • Motor drive
  • Use 2 AA batteries
