J. C. Penney is a US department store chain whose origins date back to 1902. The company was for many years just known as Penneys, while in recent decades the corporation has styled its name JCPenney.

Like Sears and Montgomery Ward, JCPenney has sold a number of photographic products; some re-branded under its own name.
