The Imperial Mark XII Flash was made in Chicago by Herbert George. It takes 6x6 images on 620 film.

Like many Imperial cameras, it is made of plastic and was available in several colors. Examples have been observed in red, light blue, a brighter blue, gray, black, tan and green. There are also variants with different face plates labelled as the Official Boy Scouts of America Camera, Official Girl Scouts Camera and Official Brownie Scouts Camera. The Girl Scouts version seems to have been manufactured as early as 1956. [1]

The design is very basic, having fixed focus, one shutter speed and a single aperture; although it was (of course) available with a flash unit. It uses an eye-level viewfinder and has a handy wrist strap rivited to the side of the camera's body.
