In 1978 Haking of Hong Kong acquired the rights to the trademark Ansco, and thereafter some Halina cameras also appeared with the Ansco name or as Ansco models. The dual-branded Halina Ansco Vision series included the Compact 35 and Vision 3 DX. There were also Easy Vision models branded Halina Ansco.

The bright-yellow Vision Compact 35 offered a 28mm wide angle lens, and a setting for the briefly-trendy "panoramic" crop of the standard 35mm frame.
