The Photosmart HP Digital Camera was introduced by Hewlett-Packard in 1997[1], and was manufactured in Japan. It is a 640x480 (VGA) resolution camera which came with a 2Mb memory card capable of storing up to 32 images; a 4Mb card was an option. Images could be uploaded to a computer using a serial interface cable. Power came from 4 AA batteries, or an external power supply.
