Gradosol was the brand name of Sociedad Industrial Argentina Fotográfica (SIAF) of Buenos Aires, in the 1940s and '50s.
The company made several variants of the same basic camera, also named Gradosol, in moulded plastic:
- Gradosol (beige)[1]
- Gradosol CX (black)
- Gradosol Elite (off-white)
The Gradosol camera makes 2¼-inch square pictures on 120 or 620 film. The three models all have a 7.5 cm f/13.5 lens, a simple 'I' and 'B' shutter, and a reverse Galilean viewfinder (that is, they differ only in the colour of the plastic) The back detaches with a catch at either end.
