The Universal-Detektiv-Camera was R. A. Goldmann's most characteristic camera model. It was a folding camera with reflecting type viewfinder, offered as "universal camera" in variants for 9x12cm plates or 13x18cm film plates. Probably it had a moment shutter for use as hand camera as well as a matte screen for use as view camera. In 1896 already 2800 pieces were sold.
