The Futura S is a high-grade rangefinder camera made from 1952 by Futura Kamerawerk GmbH, made for Futura's interchangeable lenses. The "S" stood for Synchro-Compur shutter.

It is considered that about 9,000 pieces were made.

  • Optical universal viewfinder for focal lengthes 35-100mm, with superimposed coupled rangefinder
  • Futura threaded lens mount
  • Synchro Compur leaf shutter with speeds from 1 to 1/500 s + B
