Ensign Carbine was the name of a camera series. It comprised several folding bed cameras for type No. 120 film rolls (=Ensign 2¼B roll-film) and other film sizes (up to carte de visite). Originally it was a series of Butcher which comprised cameras for other rollfilm types. Over time various versions of the key models were developed.
