The Derval is a 2-leaf shutter with speeds 1/25, 1/50 and 1/100 second, plus 'B' and 'T' modes[1].

The Derval was produced by the German company Gauthier.
It is an everset shutter meaning that there is no separate tensioning action necessary. Just operating the release suffices.

The Derval can have either a dial-set or a rim-set shutter speed setting.
