The Competitor was made in three sizes by Seneca, for formats 5x7", 6½x8½" and 8x10". It had rack and pinion focusing adjustment for its rear. Its reversible back allowed horizontal and vertical swing movements, and the lens board rising and falling front movements. Its wooden parts were fine polished mahogany. The competitor was sold with Rapid Rectilinear lens or triple convertible lens. The shutter was Seneca's Uno, Duo or Autic.
