The CG-5 is a aperture priority 35mm SLR cameras by Japanese manufacturer Chinon.
It uses a electronic controlled electro magnetic metal focal plane shutter made by Seiko. It has step less speeds of 1 to 1/1000 sec. on automatic mode; and 4 to 1/1000 sec. in 13 steps on manual mode. Flash sync is at 1/90 of a sec. A bulb mode is also offered. A shutter release button can accommodate a screw in release cable.
