The Canon Sure Shot Zoom 85 Date (Euro: Prima Zoom 85 Date, Jap: Autoboy Luna 85) was a September 1998 model from Canon's very successful Sure Shot range. It was a compact 35mm film camera with autofocus and a medium zoom lens. An Autodate function was optional.

- Lens: 38-85mm, f/4.2-8.7, 6 elements (1 aspherical) in 6 groups.
- Multiple modes on a dial.
- RT (real time) shutter release mode.
