The PowerShot A470 is a compact digital camera which was introduced by Canon in March 2007, with a 7 megapixel CCD sensor giving images of up to 3072x2304 pixels. It is fitted with a 6-21.6mm f/3-5.8 (3.4x) zoom lens, 35mm equivalent 38-132mm, incorporating Canon's AiAF autofocus system with face detection.
It was available with blue, red, grey or green panels.
Storage is via Secure Digital, SDHC, MultiMediaCard, MMCplus or HC MMCplus flash memory cards. Power comes from two AA batteries.
