Canon EOS D30 customized for use with Minolta MD lens, image by U. Kulick (Image rights) |
Canolta is the nickname of a customized DSLR of Canon with EOS-MD flange for adaption of Minolta SR/MC/MD-lenses. The lens mount replacement was invented by Mauro Placido. He makes the flanges in at least two different versions so that he can deliver MD-flanges to fit on almost all Canon EOS/IX/EOS-digital SLRs.
