CH camera
The CH is a Japanese strut-folding camera taking Sweet-size plates (about 4×5cm), patterned after the British Ensignette. It was made by an unknown company, certainly in the 1920s, and is only known from a single surviving example pictured in Sugiyama.[1]
The CH has a fixed-focus lens, a brilliant finder inside the front standard, and a simple shutter with Time and Instant settings selected by a lever at the front. The front standard has the words Achromatic lens above the lens, the model name "C.H" below and New PATENT CAMERA. at the bottom right.
Other CH products
The name CH is also found on accessory rangefinders, enlargers and tripods.[2] The CH enlarger was sold with Heliostar lenses, either 75mm f/6.3 or 105mm f/6.3.[3]
