E. Bardin & Compagnie was a camera maker in Paris, active around the late nineteenth century. Maker's plates on some of the cameras shown at Collection Appareils (linked below) give an address in Rue de Rennes in the 6th arrondissement.

Cameras

  • Folding tailboard cameras, in sizes including 18x24 cm[1][2][3]
  • Le Météor 9x12 cm box-form camera with both lens shutter and behind-the-lens guillotine shutter, (somewhat like that in the Pilot Super)[4]
  • Chambres à joues[5]
  • Falling-plate detective cameras including the Diaphane.[6]
