The Baby Reflex is a Japanese SLR camera using the no-need-darkroom process, only known from Sugiyama.[1] The name might indicate that the camera was related to the Baby made and distributed by Baby Kamera Kenkyūjo in 1931.
The camera is shaped as a box, with a viewing hood hinged to the top of the front side. It is said to take 3×5cm film. It reportedly has a mirror shutter, giving only Bulb exposure; no release lever is visible in the only available picture.[2] The name Baby REFLEX is inscribed on a crescent-shaped plate attached to the front, above the lens.
